Addendum to Maruti Suzuki 800



My wife and I were running errands yesterday and this raced around us and slammed to a stop at the traffic light in front of us. Indian Jugad is alive and well and restores my faith in the younger Indian's optimism.
The fact that it is an 800, 697cc motor,created a feeling of kinship, although I don't think I would have the cojones to actually modify my vehicle like this, but who knows what a moment of madness brings.
When it sped away from us, it sounded like a sewing machine with a very bad cough, and he drove it like Hamilton trying to overtake LeClerc in a tight F1 race. Simply wonderful! (My spouse seemed somewhat less enthused).
My favourite part was the rear spoiler/wing. Perhaps he practices at the world famous Budh Racing Circuit in Delhi, I am sure that they are looking for paying customers to keep the weeds down.
I am unsure where exactly in Dehradun the effects of the wing's downforce would be felt, but optimism rules!
It made my day to see this attempt at high performance using a singularly unsuited vehicle, but I admire the attempt tremendously! Wish I had met the driver, we would have bumped elbows.....

Giving medicine to my little bundle of joy, JoJo

Perhaps "little bundle of joy" is a misnomer. He is actually quite large, fierce looking and has a mouth the size of a laundry basket. When he yawns and exposes the vast expanse of his jaw, teeth, muzzle and various other bits, it can be disturbing to those who don't live with him every day. Even  we get a tremor every once in a while. Realizing that Rottweilers have the second strongest bite of any canine, except for the Gran Canaria, is no comfort when your dear pet gives you a rumbling growl when you try to either put in or entice him to eat a pill. Great value bookshelf speakers at a low price

I have spent days researching a list of speakers to recommend to a friend of mine. His budget is less than Rs 25,000/-. He is willing to go passive or active speakers. Another friend has an amp I dearly love, Fosi Audio BT30D Pro with a 32V power brick. He drives an old pair of B&W bookshelf speakers with that and they get loud!! (I recommend the amp!)
